We are located in the Southern-Eastern corner of Hungary, close to the Serbian border in the village Újszentiván. We cater for all level of riders. We offer a wide range of equestrian-related activities such as:

private and group lessons in English
one to three-day clinics
English speaking residing and non-residing summer camps for kids
stable management and horse care courses for both adults and kids
one to four-day treks

Newborn Foal April 2010

Kuvik

Newborn foals are among the most adorable creatures of all. You can see it yourself at Happyriders Riding School as our beloved Csinos had a filly in April. We named her Kuvik and she is doing fine. Do not hesitate to visit her!

A Happyriders lovasok három napos (2009. december 30-2010. január 1.), kiválóan szervezett lovas táborozást élvezhettek a mezőhegyesi Sovák Lovasiskolában. Kétszáz éves, műemlék jellegű, patinás, de minden komforttal felszerelt épületekben elszállásolva, lovas programokban bővelkedve vártuk és köszöntöttük az új esztendőt.

Solymosi Annamária fáradhatatlan lendülettel oktatott a fedett lovardában, amelynek szakszerűen gondozott talaja télen-nyáron optimális körülményeket biztosít a lovagláshoz. Sőt a házigazda, Sovák Péter (híres díjugrató és lovasedző) is többször energikusan bekapcsolódott a lovasok

Wir verbrachten mit dem Reitklub drei schöne Tage am Reithof von Peter SOVAK in Mezöhegyes, in den historischen Gebäuden der ehemaligen Meierei. Die Bauten sind mit modernem Komfort ausgestattet trugen zum allgemeinen Wohl der Teilnehmer bei. Die mitgebrachten vier Pferde waren in Peters Stall gut versorgt.

Patadobogás rázta meg Szőreg és Újszeged utcáit 2009. december 5-én. A Happyriders Mikulás rénszarvasoknak álcázott pónifogatán a délelőtti órákban érkezett a Közép fasor 10. szám alatti társasház udvarára, ahol már várta a lelkes gyereksereg. Krampuszai lóháton követték és szaloncukrot osztogattak. Egy kis Happyrider az alábbi verssel készült a Mikulásnak:

Jönnek majd fekete, vörös-sárga lovak,
örvendezzetek a pej Mogyorónak!
Zsoltárt ficánkolt a Tisza-Maros között,
leendő lovasa házamba költözött.

A Mikulásfogat és a lovas krampuszok délután egy Lövölde utcán lakó kis Happyridert és szülinapi partira érkezett vendégeit lepték meg egy kis fogatozással és lovaglással.

Our Riding Holiday at Happyriders

During summer 2009 we (Palle, Sten and Erik) visited Southern Hungary, for an equestrian tour of the country.

Our friend and guide, Annamaria Solymosi has a riding school in the Szeged area, and we drove south from Budapest to visit her in the second week of August. During 4 days we rode every day, and had great fun with the horses and the sightseeing in the area. We also visited a number of places of equestrian interest, including the State Stud of Mezőhegyes founded by Empire Joseph 2nd to improve the horse breeding in Hungary. Peter Sovák showed us around the estate and the carriage museum and treated us to a wonderful lunch.

Újszentiváni és tiszaszigeti gyerekek látogattak a Happyriders Kétnyelvű Lovasiskolába az angol foglalkozásaik színesítő programjaként. A gyerekek részt vehettek a lovaglást megelőző lóápolási műveletekben és felszerszámozásban is, mialatt sok új angol szóval gyarapíthatták szókincsüket. A lovaglást természetesen mindannyian nagyon élvezték Csinos hátán.

Unforgettable school trip

Osztálykirándulás

Have you ever pet a lovely pony? Have you ever groomed a horse? Have you ever ridden a pony or pony carriage? You can all try this for the first time and be sure you will never forget the experience. Please read the story of an unforgettable schooltrip below:

Mate (9): "After we have won the competition of the "Schoolgroup of the Year" at ToyJungle PlayHouse, we have had the opportunity to spend a wonderful day of all equestrian activities at Happyriders Equestrian Centre. All of us have had the chance to ride on horseback and while one group has been riding the pony carriage to the Mélypont Campsite (the lowest geographical point of the country), the other group have learnt a lot about horses in general. Annamaria, the yard manager showed us around the estate and told interesting stories about horses. We also had the opportunity to groom the lovely horses and ponies and learnt a lot about stable management and horse care as well. We also played games at the end of the lovely day for that we are very grateful to Happyriders."

Welcome, E.T.!

New horse came into the Happyriders Riding School. E.T. settled down nicely in a couple of days and now is prepared for giving pleasure for our riders.

Congratulations, Vivien!

Vivien Papdi is an endurance rider of Happyriders Equestrian Club. The sixteen-year-old rider has not only been competing on national level but she has been riding on FEI international endurance championships such as the one in Bad Blumau (AUT) or the one in Pardubice (CZE). She also brought success to our club by being the eleventh of the Hungarian Endurance Championship. Well done, Vivien!

lena_jumping A Happyriders Lovasiskola a legkisebbekre is gondolva lovasnapot tartott a 4-8 éves korosztály számára 2009. október 31-én szombaton. A Happy Kid Lovasnap reggelét már minden gyerek nagyon várta. A kis lovasok játékos formában ismerkedhettek meg a lovak körüli teendőkkel. Megtudhatták, hogyan kell rendben tartani az istállót és hogy mi a kedvenc eledele a lovasiskola lovainak. Megtanulhatták, hogyan kell jó alaposan leápolni a lovakat, mielőtt nyeregbe szállnak és megismerkedhettek a legnépszerűbb lovas sportokkal is. A lovasnapot természetesen a lovaglás koronázta meg, lovaglás előtt azonban új oktatónk, Benkő Mónika játékos bemelegítő tornát tartott.
